The Future
We plan to establish a memorial of now-nonexistent villages located in the northwestern part of the Slavkovský les(formerly Keiserwald) Region after the repairs are over. We would like it to commemorate not only the centuries-long coexistence of Czechs and Germans in the Region, but also the grim events of the pre-war, war, and post-war era. The church is going to host a permanent exposition of documents commemorating the long-gone villages, and – besides that – it is going to be used for cultural and social events as well as a meeting ground for all the people who value our heritage.
